Breakfast Topic: Your least favorite instance

A couple of days ago we asked you what your favorite instance (not raid) was, and everyone seemed to have an opinion! I, for one, was surprised to see such overwhelming fondness for low-level dungeons, especially the Deadmines, Scarlet Monastery, and Shadowfang Keep. Does no one enjoy the game's newer dungeons? So today I'm going to ask you what your least favorite dungeon in the game is. Tell us all about it in the comments!

Zul' Farrak or however it's spelled. I absolutely hate that instance. My number 2 hated instance is Uldaman.

I used to loathe Shattered Halls. Then we did Gruul's Lair and the first couple of trash pulls in SSC. This taught me a new appreciation of Shattered Halls, and now I'm amazed at how relatively easy it can be.

stockades are so tight it's hard to get your camera right, gnomeregan is annoying, and uldaman is uninspiring and somewhat tough for the level range listed on it.

It's a tossup between Mauradon and Uldaman.

They're both in zones where you're usually well done with the zones for that level when you're ready for the instance, they're amazingly long and the loot just isn't good for certain classes.

The thing BC got absolutely right was that short 2hr instances are good, and 5hr instances are bad.

Old instance wise, Mara and Ulda should just be burned to the ground, never to be raised again.

New instance wise, it doesn't get any more boring than a Shadow Labyrinth run.

I spent too much time and too many wipes in Maraudon. Also, I hate hate hate Steamvaults and the fact that I have to go back there to get exalted with CE.

My favorite level 70 instance so far is Black Morass, I also really liked Old Hillsbrad. Here's to KoT instances!

Gnomeregan. My level 70 warrior can solo BRD up to the last boss, but dies there. Extremely long, extremely tedious, and way too much choreography is needed to get through it for a level 30 instance. The only way this could be fun would be to turn it into a low level 10 player raid that reset only weekly.

Second least favourte is Maraudon. Again, an exceedingly tedious and long instance, twice as long as Uldaman, and set in the metaphorical armpit of Azeroth, tedious even to get there.

Least favorite instance?

SM Cath.

Just for the fact that i ran that f'er a billion times trying to get that mace to drop. Them ran it another billion times with the guild.

Favorite probably BFD. I really like that one for some reason.

Worse instance I've ever been in would most likely be the entire Dire Maul, I hated it so much I only went into each part once.. disgusting instance!

I loved Maraudon btw dont see why people would complain about it.

TBC's most hated would be Shadow lab.

1. Sunken Temple. There is stuff dangling from the ceiling that obstructs my camera view no matter what. It's also bland, repetetive, boring, repetetive, uninspired, repetetive, circular and repetetive. Didn't we already kill that one boss? NOW RUN IN A CIRCLE!

2. BRD. It's huge and full of dwarves.

Yea, Sunken Temple is a royal pain. I also have no love for RFD or RFC. But I think my least favorite overall is prolly BRD...It's too long, the enemy density is too high, and the experience never gets better.

for BC instances, any of the Auchindon instances - I hate those bird people with a passion. Seriously, I want to light their feathers on fire...while they're still attached

WHile I like LBRS and BRD setting- and story-wise, I've done the graveyard run so many times, it's sickening.
And I Have yet to go through UBRS (working on Ony key, just for fun).

Nothing has ever been worse then BRD.

In terms of newer content, Shadow Lab is the worst. The second boss is the most poorly designed encounter in the entire game, nothing says fun like watching the boss spam mass dispel for no apparent reason while he also has the rest of the group beat the hell out of your healer.

Yay random wipe.

(Arcatraz and Mechanar are also crap. I'm surprised to see so much Maraudon hate though, its my favorite instance. Artistically its a masterpiece compared to how bland so many other instances are.)
