How soon is now?
Restless for the 2.2 patch to go live, players have been flooding the official forums for updates on long requested features: surnames, player housing, engineering revamp, to name a few. The response to all these requests was the same: we'd like to implement these ideas, but don't know when.The only glimmer of hope the Community Managers could give was about class reviews. Word is Ret Paladins and Enhancement Shamans are receiving "changes" sooner rather than later and for Priests, the Holy tree and Discipline tree will receive some dev lovin'. For those classes not listed and feeling the need for review, there's always the next expansion. TBC did wonders for the druid Balance and Feral trees.
Now we must wait for the Voice Chat patch to go live and then Blizzard can be more specific about what game changes are coming next and which stay on the back burner.

Seriously, WHERE IS 2.2 ??

Changes to Disc and Holy? Surely you jest!
You know what using either of those means? Praying that PWS will last long enough so you can smite and mindblast enough to get off a SWD otherwise that 2 second smite cast will be 5 seconds....
God I miss the fear+mindflay lasso of death. :(

The forums remind me of press conferences where the reporters keep asking the same questions over and over.
I'd like to see the long requested features also, but Blizz usually sticks with the "it ain't gonna ship until it's ready" line.

The blizzard downloader started downloading 2.2 onto my computer a few days ago. I'm not sure why. And it didn't install or anything. Figured it was some sort of bug. Anyone else experience this?

@Rob
The downloader downloads parts of the patch that are deemed 'ready' by blizz.
This is so the download on patch day is smaller.

Yea, most likely, we'll have to wait until WLK for any significant class updates. I just hope that shamans don't get screwed again.

It's comforting to know that Blizzard will be reviewing Engineering first, seeing as it got so little attention in the expansion.
....oh wait

wish they would do something to make leatherworking less useless than it is... it's a joke.

Make crafted BoP's into BoE's so they can be on sold. Priests will not be fixed until WoTK as they have already put it off for over 9 months now. They are too busy buffing the classes that they play and weakening those that they have problems with. Poor PvE priests are basically given up and re-rolled other toons. I don't really see many if any priests healing anymore. It's all shamans, druids & pallies.

@4 I see what you did there...
