Around Azeroth: Too much thistle tea?
Gothic of Al'Akir sends in a series of shots of what I can only presume to be Orgrimmar. I can only guess that after one too many thistle teas, the world gets a bit jittery, but the ground vanishing out from under you is a new one on me.
Do you have a unique shot of Azeroth or Outland that you'd like to show off to the rest of the world? Tell us about it by e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com! Or perhaps you'd just like to see more of your pics from Around Azeroth.

That mod is called MetaHUD and that has happened to me before in Shatt and Org.

Ugh, I've had that graphics bug before on my 6200. Stinks if you're trying to get into an inn since you can't see the door to sneak in and log off.

this is not a feature, but a nasty bug that i've been encountering lately. At seemingly random times while playing, a family of textures will completely disappear and my framerate drops to the single digits. (notice the titan bar displaying the same thing for this user in the ss).
Before, it would take a restart of wow to get my textures and framerate back, but lately i've had to bounce my entire box.
I've tried every fix i could come across on the forums but no dice. Video driver updates don't seem to help either. Are there any others with this problem?

The same thing happened to me last week. I was taking a flight from Grom'Gal to UC and was working on Macros while in flight. When I landed in UC the floor disappeared.

@1 Looks like MetaHUD to me. The curves are less curvy than ArcHUD.

@1 and 4
That is MetaHUD. (I'm an avid MetaHUD user myself)

This happens to me way to often, the only way to get it back to normal is to reboot my computer. :(
If anyone has come up with a solution I would love to hear it. :)

Wow ...
"Gothic of Al'Akir sends in a series of shots of what I can only presume to be Orgrimmar."
GG captain obvious ... the "Orgrimmar Auction House" tooltip didn't give it away? Or maybe you've seen one of those in Stormwind? Booty Bay? Gadgetzan?
You must play ally ...

This particular marvelous graphics bug used to be caused by certain types of video cards, but it must have been Really popular, because blizzard introduced it to everybody in the last patch.
It's that awesome!

Yeah I get this on my work computer (GeForce 6800LE) quite frequently. I can sometimes switch resolutions and then switch back to get rid of it. Most times it requires a complete reboot to fix. There's a thread on the Tech Support forum, looks like Blizzard is trying to collect info on it. So here's hoping they issue a hot fix or roll a fix into 2.3. For now, I'm just happy this only happens on my computer at work when I'm just doing daily missions during my lunch break and not at home when I'm raiding.

That used to happen to me. I never could fix it. I had a GeForce GO 6100. Occasionally building and floor textures would disappear, fps would drop to ~2, I'd have to reboot to fix it. Updating graphics drivers never worked. I fixed it by getting a new computer =/

Nice UI. lol

yeah, i get it also. Normally after i have played WoW and exited twice, on the third time it goes like it is in the Screenshot. I have 6600GT. Maybe its a Nvidia 6000 series problem... hmm... Gonna buy an ATI/AMD later this week, then we will see.

Hmmm... yes, I also have an Nvidia 6000 series card (not sure which atm) and have gotten a similar bug. I had a similar screen shot of the center of Shattrath taken from the top of the aldor rise. I will send it in, if I still have it.

To fix that you don't always need to reboot, you can delete your 'cache' folder and the 'chache.md5' in your "wtf/account/accountname/" folder. Works for me most of the time.

I get that a lot. I can see through walls (I kinda want to try it in Arenas, but since I cant see walls it could make things fun).
It tends to happen when I use the Windows key, or sometimes when I click on my Start bar on my other monitor, but it doesnt always happen. It happens more often when I havent clicked out of WoW in a long time, but it can happen 2-3 mins after logging in too.
A simple game-restart fixes it every time. No reboot necessary.
