How much do you love your pirate faction?

What pirate faction, you say? The Bloodsail Buccaneers of Booty Bay have their own limited faction gains and rewards. Killing goblins and doing the few available quests will get you a pirate outfit, but not much else.Player Bloodysaber of the Uldum server would like to see more. He'd like to see it so much, he wrote up an entire faction design document for Blizzard to follow. This document not only including quests, NPCs and faction rewards, but also new pirate gear with stats, a pirate title and a pirate town in the form of a boat parked off shore with vendors, flight masters, engineer trainers and quest givers.

Hilarious idea! Mostly because upon reading it I got a mental image of level 70s roaming through Booty Bay, trying to tag guards as they respawn.

And off-shore pirate haven would presumably be in international waters, which can only mean one thing.... MONKEY KNIFE FIGHTS.
But seriously, this would be so cool to have. Blizz should definitely implement this idea. Maybe they could even bring Cap'n Placeholder back to teleport you from the Booty Bay docks out to the pirate ship.

I would definitly definitly grind that faction. So much of the items are fairly useless sidegrades, it'd be a nice change to have a faction with entirely useless and fun rewards.

Wow, that guy likes to completely waste his time. If Blizz wanted to use his ideas they would have to pay him for them, and as such they would not do it. If they used them he could always come back and call it his I.P.

A liloff topic, but while we are taking abount things to implement....
What about vendors and casino games on the Zepplin and Boats. Give something to pass the time and thre is all that wasted space on both.

it would be great to have an alternate working factions. they could do the pirates and south goblins like they have done with scryers and aldor
and add life in Steamwheedle Port with some pirates or use the camp in the south. whatever.

I know almost nothing about this, so maybe this wouldn't work at all, but if the dude wanted Blizz to use it so much that he didn't want to be paid, couldn't he just put it under a creative commons license or something?
