WoW Moviewatch: NetherVale
Baron Soosdon has done it again. After the exquisite Sin City Azeroth and the trippy Unlimited Escapism, he has taken stunning visuals one step further. A player sent him modded files of Netherstorm and Stranglethorn Vale melded together into one big, purple, pulsating, crystalline jungle of psychedelic beauty and the Baron has filmed it for us.
Don't bother looking for a plot or a PvP technique. This video is about two vastly different worlds colliding. And I'm glad they did.
Now get back to finishing that music video for L70 Etc you've been slaving over, Baron. Your public awaits.

Sorry but I didn't find it as appealing as his earlier works and the video quality made it a little hard for me comprehend as well.
Soosdon's earlier pieces served as fantastic pieces of eye candy but this mess of crystals (was that the only thing in there?)was a visual nightmare.

Wow, that was weird. They must be editing the game files somehow.
Also, I'm glad I have a mute button on my laptop.

I liked it personally! The landscape seemed littered with way too many types of the same crystal model but overall the music selection allowed me to stay with it! Nicely done!
Where do you get your music selections Baron? I need to listen to these when I travel and play WOW!

First of all I'd like to say that I made this movie in about 90 mins (filming + editing included) around 4am so it's not the best editingwise :D My goal was to show the model edit by Lev.
@ Chrissie, I get my music from various net sites. I "find out" the songs from either radio shows or from my friends with the same music taste.

Baron,
Very cool! I love trance but everytime I try to download some I always get the usual ones...nothing new seems to pop up.
Do you have any trance selections/groups/songs you like best?
A WOW movie fan ^_~

Chrissie,
well - to list all the "bands" / producers / DJ's I like would take a LOT of space. But you can't go horribly wrong in determining a small fraction of my favourite electronic dance music artists if you (or anyone else) search these names: Above & Beyond, Oceanlab, Rank 1, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, Armin van Buuren, Super8, DJ Tab, Syna, Dumonde, Pendulum, Muffler, Darude, Airwave, DJ Orkidea, Pain On Creation, DJ Proteus, Alek Szahala, DJ Tiesto, Man With No Name just to name a few.
Indeed, a few :D
