Around Azeroth: Four Furbolg
Four Furbolg walk into a bar... no, wait, wrong article! Reader Matt sends in this shot of four interpid players who aren't just disguised as Furbolg, but disguised as Furbolg of four different sizes. So, let's think this through.... One of them is normal sized, one of them is using Winterfall Firewater or an Elixir of Giant Growth to become larger. One is using a World Enlarger to become smaller. But I'm at a loss to explain that forth Furbolg. Is there a potion that cases size changes but isn't classified as a battle elixir like the two previously mentioned potions? An engineering device isn't coming to mind? Now's your chance to gain comment fame by coming up with the answer!

Noggenfogger might have a different shrink size as the world enlarger, but im not sure if it stacks with furbolg or not.
Also Heroism increases your size, so the 2nd smallest could be normal size, with 2 bigger than usual, and 1 smaller.

Isn't the fourth one that Furbolg pet you can summon when you are Exalted with the Timbermaw?

The battleground enrage-size increase, stacks with firewater, but that makes a HUGE furbolg

Shrink with noggin, then pop a firewater. It makes a draenei as tall as a normal human.

Gnomish shrink ray and noggenfogger. A guildmate of mine did that the other night. So adorable!

1st one is using Winterfall, 2nd is normal, 3rd is using Noggenfogger + Winterfall, 4th is just using Noggenfogger :) Sorry for SPOILING the fun, I'm the 3rd btw :P

Why is a potion or device needed? It appears to me that all they had to do was stand further back to make it appear as if they are smaller.

Another way that you can get shrunk is by using the engineering transporters and getting the "You feel smaller somehow..." malfunction. Then using the world enlarger to get even smaller. Fun being smaller then a gnome as a Belf.

I may be wrong but dosent Elixer of the Mongoose increase your size as well? Its been a while since I have used one.

If you are Horde, you can also enlarge yourself from a level 10-ish quest in the Troll lands... which stacks with other buffs like Firewater... I was a HUGE tauren once :P But I don't think that would explain this, since they're clearly in Dun Morogh.

Ha, no one's seen this trick before? It's an optical illusion; they're all the same size. =P
Inferno_str1ke Sep 28th 2007 9:36AM
It's not an optical illusion, as the guy who posted above said - considering he was one of the three.
