Patch 2.3: Cenarion Expedition flying mount edition [Updated]

While it would be available for both factions, we could also put in an epic flying mount that is purchasable for those who are exalted with the Cenarion Expedition. It would be very expensive, but it would be a sign of an accomplishment for people who go the extra mile and purchase one.What sort of flying mount could it be, we wonder? Hippogryphs? I would have guessed nether rays if the Sha'tari Skyguard hadn't already snagged those. Does the Cenarion Expedition have a secret cache of flying cows they're not telling anyone about? The questions continue to pile upon mysteries already heaped upon enigmas!
Hmmm... this does sound like a good idea, how about we do this in patch 2.3?
Update: Riddle unraveled! Apparently, it is a Hippogryph, and at the normal 280% speed. Thanks Icho, for asking the question on the forums and finding out for us! I had been hoping for an enormous Zangarmarsh firefly after reading some of the comments -- that would be classy! But alas, it is not meant to be.

I'm all for it, considering I'm already exalted with CE (I would be a bad druid if I wasn't). I can't imagine any kind of mount that the Cenarion Circle would use. Maybe we just get turned into a giant, flying Wisp?

I think a Hippogryph sounds like the common sense answer here, TBH, with Bats coming with Zul'aman for Trolls and Undeads, I'd really love to see more variations of Flying mounts, i was really dissapointed we didnt get racials flying mounts tbh

Alliance don't have access to a raptor? There's the one from ZG. So they do have access to one, it's just a low drop rate.

Alliance has access to ZG raptors and undead horses from the Baron in Strat. What more do those clowns want?
Now the Horde has a spectral tiger from the CCG, and the BeerFest Ram from 2.2.3.... We're even!

They'll just scale up the bog needler thingies to mount size and add a half assed saddle which leaves many races look totally dumb on them just as with the nether rays.

@5: I've seen 3 people with it in 2 years. Thats not a low drop rate, its a freaking miracle! LOL!
As for the CE mount, there's always the dragon-type critters flying just NNE of CE HQ in Zangar. Everything else is just a land critter.

To bad the mount is supposed to cost 2000g. I really hope that it will be a moth because I have been craving for a moth mount for months. At 2kg it better be 310%.

I've always wanted a Wolf for my Barbarian-concept Human Warrior, and as a Troll Hunter I've always wanted a Tiger! (Well, at least one wish was answered...)
Hippogriffs would be nice. Griffons just get boring after a while, and are certainly not Druidic.

hippogryphs are the most likely, although I really wanted them to be Alliance exclusive and Bats for horde.
Other possibilities; Spor Bat or Stinger Insect mounts with the glowing.
