Glove enchants for the discerning Druid

Earlier today, Karthis over at Of Teeth and Claws responded to a question from one of his readers regarding which glove enchant was best if you're a tanking Druid. In case you missed it, despite our massive coverage of the last patch, some old world enchants made their return -- including Enchant Gloves: Threat, which previously dropped only in Ahn'Qiraj.
He examines the current options players have available for glove enchants, and backs up his opinion with solid math and theorycrafting. If you're wracking your brain trying to figure out which enchant suits your Druid best, I recommend going and checking out his post!

15 agility for tanking. There is no better enchant, period, imho :P

If a high end feral druid puts threat on their gloves then they should seriously re-roll if they are having agro problems.
There is nothing to even debate the 15 agi to gloves is the best for feral druids period.

+2% Threat on Gloves? For a Druid? I mean honestly, we have the ability to generate more threat then Warriors with our regular attacks. No, if you need Threat on gloves, go balance or resto.
Really the only time I have problems is when DPS classes don't throttle back their dps when necessary. Otherwise, I almost never lose aggro.
+15 Agility for Bear.
+15 Strength for Cat.
+30 Healing for Trees
+20 Spells/Healing for Boomkins.
And Subtlety on cloaks for Boomkins please.

@3 Because of the way the damage curve is for cats and the point allocation between strength and agility on druid pieces. You are almost always better off enchanting and socketing for agility over strength. +15 is for cat as well at bear. +15 strength is a easy to get alternative until you get the agility one.

@3, I believe it was Elitist Jerks that calculated that the closer your agility and strength are to each other, the better your DPS will be.
For example, say you have 500 agi and 450 str. You would be better off with the str to gloves to try to get your str up closer to your agi. If however you have 500 agi and 500 str, you would want to go with agi.
At least, that's the theory as I understand it.

@5: Nope. In 99% of cases, AGI will be better than STR.

@6: Where do you get that information? Mine comes from here: http://druid.wikispaces.com/ToskksDPSGearMethod

@7: You completely misunderstood his research. He calculated a model that shows that DPS is best optimized when the VALUE of 1 STR and 1 AGI are equal, not simply "Oh you should have a 50:50 blend between STR and AGI."
And this is all ignoring the fact that there are a million more buffs increasing your AP, but barely any that will help increase your crit rate. In raiding situations, your AP will be so far out of proportion that AGI is pretty much the only choice.

@8, that still does not mean that agil is a much better stat than str. If you notice, agil was given a roughly equal value to str. So, my conclusion still stands that agil = str and having a good balance between the two is best.
