Around Azeroth: Are two pairs of wings better than one?
Reader Medros of Argent Dawn sends us this shot of, well, a flying paladin. This begs the question -- are two pairs of wings better than one? Does Avenging Wrath also buff one's flight speed? Inquiring minds want to know!

"This begs the question -- are two pairs of wings better than one?"
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Begs_the_question:
"'Begging the question' describes a type of logical fallacy, petitio principii, in which the conclusion of an argument is implicitly or explicitly assumed in one of the premises. In other words, the argument fails to prove anything because it takes for granted what it is supposed to prove." A common example is someone attempting to use passages in the Bible to prove the existence of God to a non-believer.

It would be more correct to say, "this prompts the question" or "this raises the question" or "this invites the question." There is no logical fallacy about a Paladin riding a flying hippogryph...though it does have some potential issues with physical laws of gravity that can be explained only by Magic.

@1 So you think the question, "are two pairs of wings better than one", is not a forgone conclusion? Do you really think two pairs of wings gives any advantage whatsoever? The answer IS implicit in the question!
I think it's a perfect example of begging the question.
