Patch 2.2.2 and you: Brewfest tomorrow

The irony for me is that I don't drink any alcohol in real life. This may sound odd, but I usually try to avoid it in the game too, if for no other reason than I don't know exactly how my characters should act when they're drunk out of their minds. I've tried roleplaying it before, though, at the Darkmoon Faire, and I guess I was believable enough! It's not that hard to just be uninhibited. Still, something tells me that Brewfest isn't actually about getting drunk. What's the significance of this holiday for you?

Brewfest to me, is a grand time to get together with friends and have a good time. Nothing can beat a pint or some rum with a good friend or friends telling stories, and this being October why not ghost stories?

I honestly probably will not go for the ram, I already have the AV one. They are funny with night elves (not as funny as with Tauren though, I have seen that, and it is a blast) but I don't need two of them taking up bank space.
Anyone know if they ever fixed the barking quests? Last I saw on the PTR, they were still broken.

Personally I don't think a festival about beer is necessarily about getting drunk. Am I the only person who enjoys a good ale for the sake of drinking a good ale? Give me a good dark porter or thick hefe over some cheap Bud Light/Keystone Light/Coors type crud anyday.
I also don't think the festival is only about beer, I think it's also one last good celebration before the winter season begins.

It's all about the tasty, tasty Octoberfest--oh excuse me, Brewfest--beers. If you're not a beer drinker, you may not know that Sam Adams Octoberfest brew is only available this time of year. Ahhh, Octoberfest, so full of malty goodness.

@6: The quote is "Fire bad. Tree pretty." Admittedly, it was after Buffy drank beer that had a special ingredient in it that made its imbiders devolve, so it definitely was beer related.

I just hope they manage to fix the massive bugs that plagued the event on the Test Realms. Strange they took the Fest down without actually fixing anything. Hmph.

@6 & 12: "Fire bad, tree pretty" is from Graduation Day, Part II. Buffy says "Fire bad" and Xander says "Beer bad" separately in Beer Bad in Season 4. An episode that people usually hate, but one that I like, having often wanted to hit ex-boyfriends on the head with large sticks and never having followed through.

the info on MMO-Champion seems to put a lot of the quests only in Alliance cities; but what about Horde? will there be comparable quests for Horde? i am assuming so, but can anyone point me towards verification?
