I would argue that Ancestral Knowledge is a waste of 5 points. With your current gear those 5 points get you 400 mana. Moving 3 points to Totemic Focus will save you about 160 mana per totem wave (if we're just thinking about mana efficiency) with 2 points left to move around. Tidal Mastery, Purification, and Imp Chain Heal are all better talents than Ancestral Knowledge.
Too many people look at the shaman class, realize we have mana issues and then assume that any talent increasing mana must be worthwhile. However anyone who actually does the math realizes that this is a sub par talent at best.
