Breakfast Topic: What are your Brewfest goals?

At midnight last night the goblins and dwarves finished setting up the Brewfest tents outside Ironforge and Ogrimmar. Also the beer gardens outside Stormwind, Darnassus, the Exodar, Undercity, Thunder Bluff and even Shattrath. You now have 13 days to collect enough tickets to walk away with a souvenir from your fortnight of drunken revelry. Is it going to be the Brewfest Pony Keg? The Riding Ram? Or the authentic Brewfest Regalia?
What quests interest you the most? Hitting every location in search of the elusive Pink Elekks? Racing Rams through Ironforge and/or Ogrimmar? Fighting off invading Dark Iron Dwarves with nothing but a decorative stein and a fresh-from-the-oven schnitzel? Let us know!

Hope to get the ram on my hunter alt. Though I do hope that they fix the pink elekk quest so I can actually do it, that'd make things a bit easier.

Being a Tauren I'm greatly looking forward to getting the Ram, and the Ram Racing quests sound like a lot of fun. Can't wait to get smashed and knock out some Dark Irons too XD

I'm looking forward to being able to work on "normal" quests while the usual bored gankers' attention is diverted to playing the brewfest games. I'll visit, play along for a minute or two, but I got a toon to get to 70 and don't have time to pay exclusive attention to these particular quests. Too bad for me, I guess. The hazards of being a casual gamer with a deadline I guess.

I agree with #1. I wish they'd fix the elekk quest so I could actually do it. Also the ram racing quest didn't seem to reset with the daily quests (I did it at midnight server). So we'll see. Well 275 down 325 to go. Hopefully I'll break 75 or 100 tickets on 1 invasion.
Couple hints for Brewfest.
1. /wave at one of the barkers to get your dark iron smashing beer mugs. The ones on the tables are bugged.
2. After you get your maximum 25 keg defender marks turn in immediately. Then accumulate some more. (I've gotten 60 in 1 dark iron invasion)
3. Step on the big beer mug that show up on the ground during the invasion. Then remain stationary as you whirlwind and drink your other beer like normal (you get the whirlwind beer mugs and your normal one flying). In fact, if you can stay on the beer mug you can get it repeatedly.
4. Time your throws so you are drinking right as the doors hit the ground.
5. If there are multiple drills in the area just go nuts and down beer as fast as it's thrown at you. I find it helpful if you face in the direction of the dark irons, though it may make no difference.
6. Where some fashionable gear when you boink'ing those dark iron invaders.

Paw! The buff that Vol'jin gave out at the ceremonial keg tapping at 6:00 am (he does it twice a day) gave a 10% boost to XP for 2 hours. I dunno if it's always the same buff.

Good to know the mugs on the table are bugged. I must have been 1/2 asleep this morning, but I couldn't find a festival mug (to drink from the kegs) and couldn't get the reins to work again. I tried disabling my UI and it was still fubar. Any tips for sleepy or drunken Mage?

Goals? I think I just want a hat... and to try all the quests. I got a wolpertinger (so cuute) this morning before work, had to bring my own booze to get drunk enough to see 'em tho.

Actually, I just bought the goggles, it's rather amusing to see gnomes riding felsteeds!

Getting the Brewfest regalia and boots to go along with the brown brewfest hat I got last night. Should be entertaining wearing that with the Blood Elf warlock.
I'd like to get the Ram too but I doubt I'll get all the points in time.

I have a BE and would like to get a full set of the Reglia and a ram. Not sure if it will be possible to get both, but I'm gonna try!

well, being a dwarf i alrdy have a ram but prefer my pvp cat. i thought the goggles would b fun..but 7days. ack! so... i guess i will just save up and decide at the end.
