Paladins aren't really fun to play until you can spec for aoe protection around level 35.

Then it becomes an absolute blast to play and gets even better as your gear and talents get better.

The thing that people don't realize is that protection aoe takes a certain type of gear in order for it to be successful. If you try to wear warrior gear with lots of strength, you're gonna get slaughtered.
