I'm excited by new mid-level content. I'm going to take my level 70 and go check out the new FP at the top of STV and the new quests you can get in DWM.
I'll get WOTLK when it comes out, but, the more I read about it, the more I think it is geared toward the really hard core player who has all his t4 and t5 gear as well as a raiding AND PVP set. I'll do it but I won't be one of the masses running up there to experience it on the first day.
I'm a big fan of organic progression of games. I took a group through Scholo last weekend and was amazed at the changes in loot drop with the last patch, stuff I didn't know existed. An Heroic mode for all instances would be cool and I wouldn't groan right away when someone needs Stocks or Deadmines. I like the idea of getting people used to earning rep early, such as what I imagine it would take to get a key for Heroic Deadmines. Grinding rep is such a part of my level 70 daily life.
One change I'd like to see that no one mentions is summoning stones. If you exceed the requirements of the instance, you should be able to be summoned. I still help guildies who need SM but it's a long ride from Southshore. It, also, wastes the time of those waiting for me to get there.
All in all, patch 2.3 sounds great.
