You may wonder how this relatively drab shot, sent in by reader Conak of Stormrage, made it into our Around Azeroth location. It's not an impressive locale or an interesting site -- however, this little doll is found in just one part of Azeroth and it is the hallmark of one of the game's saddest quests, the
Sister Pamela chain. In this short series of quests, a ghost sends you to Darrowshire in the Eastern Plaguelands to find her younger sister. The sister is easily found, but a ghost herself, wandering around and wanting only her doll, which we see above.

Hmmm. Now, how was this taken? The quest is collect the three parts of the doll, which you then assemble in your bag (so you don't see the doll as whole)...
Does she drop it on the floor at the end of the quest?

skalgrim, if I remember the quest correctly, each part of the doll appears, bafflingly, as an entire doll.

I actually finished this quest last night. After handing in the doll, it is left on the floor before she sends you on to the next stage. (The three pieces are unidentifiable lumps.)

There is a similar doll sitting on a bench in one of the Ogre huts above Aldor Rise. I always thought what a curious place for a doll. Kinda makes you wonder what little ogre children do in their spare time!

There are dolls like this all over, though not as dark and decrepit. I think there are four or five in the Stormwind Orphanage place.

Jessica Redpath (the quest giver, asking you to find her sister Pamela) is alive and a member of the argent dawn. http://www.wowwiki.com/Jessica_Redpath Thier father was killed by the scourge and forced to do their bidding. His corrupted spirit was finally defeated at Andorhall, this quest line is all about the family, their history and closure.

I've just finished this quest about 10 minutes ago. After you've completed it see drops it on the floor :)
