Yea, as a warlock, I get salv instead of something that could boost/protect me in other ways, DPS specs have to worry about threat, it's deliberate. Most DPS classes have to scale back aggro all the time. The problem is really caused by how aggro works. The way I understand it is that it takes less threat to aggro a mob in melee than it does to aggro one from range, so even doing less damage than me, a pally pulls more aggro.
