Zul'Aman cleared on the PTRs
Warcry reports this morning that less than 24 hours after the launch of Zul'Aman on the test realms, that the Europeans have done it once again and the guilds Curse and Death Wish have cleared the instance all the way to Zul'Jin.The article notes that the loot quality appears to fall between Karazhan and SSC, around level 132. Each boss reportedly drops two Badges of Justice while Zul'Jin drops three.
It certainly looks like there is "fresh meat" just around the corner for the raiding community. If you missed it, be sure to go back to check out the Zul'Aman preview so you can get ready for the latest ten-man instance when the next content patch goes live! With a high-level raid in such close proximity to (potentially) flagged lowbie blood elves, I can see Zul'Aman being a very popular Alliance destination!

Good for them. It was very important that T6 raiders totally steamroll an instance between T4 and T5.
::rolleyes::

Hmmm that is weird MMO-champ has another guild that already cleared ZA with loot pics and down pics a few days ago.... http://www.mmo-champion.com/

Who cares? These guilds are harcore no-lifers. Sure they are successful, but they do not represent 99.9% of the WoW population.
Gratz, but these guilds need some real life challenges.....especially when there is really no envy involved, just pity.

Meet your Makers and Curse is the same guild after the Sponsorship.

What's there to "pity" about 20 people getting characters copied to PTR and spending a little time clearing the instance?

Amazing! While @2&3 are wasting time and RL (like me obviously)posting about how these guys have no life, those guys are clearing content.. You only wish you could be part of that... grats to the few who have the organization and skill it takes to do this that fast.. Without you the rest of us wouldn't have strategy postings to read before we go in there!

@6: Amazing? Organization and skill? Two guilds that have already cleared BT and are wearing T6 gear just took out a dungeon that's roughly of SSC difficulty. The first guilds to down Archimonde and Illidan.. that was amazing. This hardly deserves to be mentioned on the site.

that's BS propogranda from some company.
multiple guilds had it down from the first run in the US, and probably EU too. Being the first to report a meaningless (and very easy from what most guilds say) PTR kill is pretty silly.

@8 I wasn't referring to the clearing of Zul'Aman as being amazing... I was only showing my amazement at how 2&3 stated that they were not jealous of the "pathetic no-lifers" who cleared Zul'Aman.
dave99 Oct 15th 2007 1:34PM
@9: Ah! lol. My appologies then. :) I just couldn't believe you were amazed that someone cleared a dungeon they were vastly overgeared for. I agree that 2 and 3's comments were silly considering they're on a site in the middle of the day talking about a computer game.
hehe Oct 15th 2007 1:40PM
Wait, so they did a raid thats considered to have gear on between Kara and SSC in Tier 6 gear and mocking it as being easy? You think?
LEH Oct 15th 2007 1:43PM
Exactly.
Kaylek Oct 15th 2007 1:59PM
I don't recall reading them mock anything about it. Precious little egos, so easily threatened when someone who doesn't have to brag just points out a clear.

Really? Let me quote you Curse page about the kill...
"Zul'aman cleared in a couple of hours on PTR, ROFFEL!
Will do the timed shit tomorrow and hopefully get some better epiCZ!"
ragebull Oct 15th 2007 2:33PM
I'm not surprised they cleared it. They've been playing MMO's for a while so there probably isn't an encounter they haven't seen before. Their Black Temple gear helped enormously, I'm sure.
The real question is if they'll even bother to do the dungeon when it goes public.
vlad Oct 15th 2007 2:18PM
this is really no big deal, did a full clear up to zul'jin in a pug this weekend. and i only play about 5-7 hours a week total so yes, i actually have a life and raid sometimes.
TotalBiscuit Oct 15th 2007 2:28PM
Wow there's a sack-full of very fragile and very threatened egos in this thread.
'OMG THAY HARDCOREZ NO LIEF ROFLZ'. I tell ya, if spending a shed-load of time away from WoW was a badge of honour, but it came at the price of being a judgmental pig, then strap me to my chair and hook up the intravenous Mountain Dew drip immediately!.
LEH Oct 15th 2007 2:40PM
Of course they'll bother when it opens live.. gotta compete for 'World First' title...
Freehugz Oct 15th 2007 4:42PM
how?!?!?! Every time I tried to get on the ptr it crashed every half hour
