Listen to the WoW Insider Show, episode 7

- The 2.3 PTR patch notes: Of course we had to discuss the upcoming patch.
- Forum Post of the Day: The fight to enter Zul'Aman: "One does not merely walk into the Ghostlands."
- WoW Moviewatch: Four wheels of Fury!: You can hear me do the "lawgiva" yell.
- Dalaran might be Alliance-only: Although Turpster disagrees.
- The sad state of BG healing: When a Warlock tops the healing charts, you know we're all in trouble.
- Got your ram yet? Our Brewfest wrapup.
And don't forget that we do this live on WoW Radio every Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm EST or 8:30pm GMT. This weekend, Turpster won't actually be around (he's going to Totalbiscuit's wedding-- Grats, TB and Eriyanna!), but as always, we'll have WoW Insider folks on with WoW Radio folks, and the best WoW insight and commentary outside of, well, this very site.

Love these podcasts, great discussions. I was especially intrigued by the Paladin vs. Druid discussion. I gotta kinda disagree with you guys on this point.
I think it's Druids that constantly bitch about not being able to do everything like gods. Paladins have been stuck in the healing role for so long that I feel sorry for them more so than anything. I refused to touch a paladin up until this year, and after 40 levels, I gotta say it's a great class, and they really deserve a bit more in the Ret/Prot tree.
I myself have a 70 Warrior and Shaman, and from my perspective, and as a healer/tank/DPSer, I've run into more druids who consider themselves superior to warriors as tanks, superior to rogues/mages as DPS and superior to paladins/priests in healing.
Just my two cents.

@1. i disagree. I'm a druid, and i'm Very content with our ability to kick butt at everything as long as we're properly specced/geared. I've never heard a druid complain about the class. They're hard to play (i play all classes) so not many people play them and therefore when we kick the crap out of people it doesn't happen as often so they don't try to nerf us. I dont know if pallies complain or not, because the only complaining i really listen to is from this website.
However, from the podcast, i don't think paladins are any better at their specced/geared roles than druids are. Maybe you can statistically prove me wrong mike, as you seemed pretty adamant about it.

I am just now catching up, on to ep 4, but I do have a comment: the background music really needs turned down or off all together. It is extremely difficult to hear certain hosts with all the music spikes all over the place. Thanks.

I haven't had the chance yet to listen to the later episodes, and while I know I would not be invited on the show to discuss this, I think that the entire statement regarding paladins is a hilarious one. Why can the paladins not be as good in the specific tree as the 'main class' that does them? This game, right now, has a serious lack of Tanks and Healers, and the attitudes that Mike had on this episode are only going to further the problem. We don't want to do everything on all specs, we just want to be able to do our main thing, DPS, Tank, or Heal, well enough to be able to do raids or 5 mans. Why in the name of Elune is there a problem with this?
