Preview of new Dustwallow Marsh content
Player Szilia has scoped out the changes to Dustwallow Marsh to add more mid-level content to the zone coming in Patch 2.3. She reports back that Mudsprocket, a new, neutral Goblin town has appeared in the southwest, complete with Flight Paths and graveyard.Mudsprocket is the main quest hub for both Alliance and Horde, though most quests appear to be Alliance based. Other new quest hubs include Tabetha's Farm and additional quests on and around Theramore Isle. One of the new quests centers around the disappearance of the King of Stormwind and involves both Jaina Proudmoore and Bolvar Fordragon
Other changes include the arrival of the Grimtotem Furbolgs, the dragonkin outside Onyxia's lair losing their elite status and the introduction of a new sea beast.
Szilia doesn't give out any loot rewards, but with new Epics introduced in the lower levels, maybe the quest rewards will be better than usual. And Alliance really needed an alternative to the 15 level grind that is Stranglethorn Vale.

The Grimtotem Clan + Furbolgs?!?...
Maybe the only resemblance is the 'Grimtotem' part of the name (I hope).
The actual Grimtotems are a Tauren-only tribe/clan that wants no part of the Horde alliance. Characterized with jet-black fur and a dark, menacing demeanour. Also rumored to have shady dealings and possibly links to the Scourge.
How did a tribe of Furbolgs move so far south and away from Ashenvale?
((Maybe the increased Furbolg presence in the game, in addition to the many friendly Furbolg NPC's that Alliance players can talk to, is a subtle hint of future playable races)).
The 'Grimtotem' name for the Furbolg may be just coincidental, but if Blizz starts naming human NPC's with the last name of 'Bloodhoof', I'll start to think that they're team of name-assigners is getting lazy again!

Speaking of new quests, I've heard rumors of a quest in the next patch to upgrade your main bag from 16 to 20 slots. Anyone have any more info on this?

Anyone know if the Theramore Guards have been updated to level 65, like the tiny horde town? I mean c'mon, Theramore is supposed to be almost a city of the Alliance... base of operations to Northrend.
Just curious though :)

Horde already has plentiful quests in Dustwallow and also tons more in the Hinterlands, compared to Alliance. Alliance seem to have good questing up to about 30, Horde is better from about 40 up.

@3 I enjoyed Desolace particularly because no one goes there so I could kill what I needed without having to wait 15 minutes for respawn. Spent many a happy hour grinding those nagas off the coast and getting lots of unusual greenies and lots of money. But when someone says, "Where can I go to quest for level 30-40?" and you say "Desolace", they go "Ewwwww. I'll just head to STV." and then complain about that.
I'm kind of sad the dragonkin in the south are no longer elite. Since few people took them on, it was a great place to practice pulling and trapping and kiting and "what does this button do" hunter things. Sucked when you died, but I learned quite a bit about my character spending a couple hours down there.
I'm looking forward to running around Duskwallow, myself.

I also spend most of the time in Desolace. It was my first area of questing in Kalimdor. When running around in Desolace you get the feeling that you are compltely alone and no Alliance is even present. great place.
Back to Theramore.. anyone know if the Theramore guards have been updated to level 65? seems weird to level 55 guards protecting a city

I started scoping out Mudsprocket on my 63 belf, I didn't see much other than a couple quests, but I didn't check the Ogre town for any. Sadly the only other toon I had around 30-40 was an old 37 nelf from another server, I might take a look with her. I kinda wish Blizzard did the premade idea with this PTR, but gave us premade 30's so we can just test the new quest content without having to level up a new toon to get there. Or let us scale the level of our copied characters.

"And Alliance really needed an alternative to the 15 level grind that is Stranglethorn Vale"
I haven't leveled an alt alliance side.. so if this is the case then hopefully it won't be the gankfest of a failed zone it is now.

There already was a very extensive quest chain about the missing King of Stormwind that takes you Dustwallow Marsh. It begins with the Alter Boy in the Cathedral of Light back in Stormwind, but eventually you end up in the Marsh and meet various people along the way, including Jaina Proudmoore.
The quest line begins here:

I remember I really enjoyed it because, since it was so long and had to do with the king, it felt more... epic in nature, I suppose. It was neat to do something "important" (like look for the king) as such a low level.
Then again, maybe the blog post was referring to a new quest line about the king, but it sounded an awful lot like the one that is already there.

I hope there's some more horde quests in the area, because I had a lot more trouble finding quests to do on the horde side for levels 35-40 than I did when leveling my alliance.
