The only issue I've had so far with the epics dropping from the Headless Horseman is that you can sell the brooms. While they're fairly easy to obtain, it seems like people with too much time on their hands are going to do their best to farm the mounts and resell them on AH, which kind of defeats the purpose of the event.

Besides that, I think the event is great. Its fun, not too hard, and rewards you for enjoying this rare treat (as pointed out, its only 2 weeks out of the year).
