My friend leveled blacksmithing. The hardest part for her was 225-300. Part of the problem was that she hit 225 right around when TBC hit and the price of metals spiked because of all the leveling jewelcrafters. She said that 300-375 was much cheaper and easier, especially after she farmed the Felsteel Gloves pattern.
My 70 rogue is an enchanter / engineer and I'm still not maxed out on either profession because it's just too expensive to level and/or I don't have access to the rare recipes I need to level with. The cost for leveling both professions so far has been ENORMOUS.
My 66 pally tank is a jewelcrafter / miner. I'm eventually going to drop mining for enchanting when I level another toon high enough to mine for me.
