Brooms not going bye-bye (yet)

Bornakk clears up some of the confusion (which he also had a hand in creating), saying that "the items with a duration on them won't all vanish on November first, you just won't be able to get any new ones." So now here is the factual summary of the official words on blizzard regarding your beloved broom mounts:
- They last for 14 days, not just for one ride.
- They last for 14 days of played game time on the character that possesses them, not 14 days of real time, and extending beyond the Hallow's End event for however long you keep them on an unplayed character.

Dang 14 days played not real time, that is quite a while come to think about it.

Actually, the Blue brooms are Bind when Used, but the Epic flying Purple is BoP as stated above.

@4 no it is not, I just sent one from the winner to my alt last night.
As for the question, I think they will be extremely valuable, especially to those who were too low to get one during the event.

I attempted to sell an epic non-flying broom on AH. I was able to mail it to my bank alt. However, it would not let me put it in AH, saying that "You can not sell summoned items". It had never been used, fyi.

14 days /played is a long time. Even if you play 8 hours a day every day it's still a few weeks.

You have to buy them in person I'm afraid. I figured this was the case, as I said the other day(with the days played thing), but thanks for the confirm. I went out and bought 2 more epic ground brooms just now, so I have enough to hopefully last me to next year. I just love the soothing sway...
