The deal with contests in other countries is laws in other countries. Every country has different laws that relate to and restrict how contests can be run. Since our legal team can't stay up to date on the laws in every country (and they don't want us to do anything illegal anywhere), they restrict us to running contests in the US. And as much as I hate to say it, this isn't going to change. (I've been given a "maybe" on Canada, which I'm trying to get included in our next big contest -- but I can't make any promises, as making this happen all depends on our legal department.)
I'm sorry that our contests exclude other countries -- I really wish we could include everyone. But it's a legal issue for us and we just can't do it.
