"I can see how, if you're a big fan of the comic already, learning stuff like this might be fun and interesting. But at some point, you've just got to leave Simonson alone and read the comic for yourself. Enough interviews, enough hinting, enough speculation. Just let him write it so we can read it already!"

The questions about Dire Maul, Orgrimmar and Thunderbluff came to be because Solicitations as far as issue# 3 (January) have been available from DC Comics website.
There have been only three interviews with Walter: MTV, Newsarama and Blizzplanet.
Actually, the interview with Blizzplanet was the #2 interview, I had contacted Walter on October 8, got the questions answered by October 17, a week before Newsarama, but I had agreed not to post the interview until DC Comics had reviewed all the 31 questions in the Q&A -- since it had more direct-to-the-liver questions covering Issue# 1-3.
There is a difference between those three interviews, however. Newsarama caters to old-timer comic book fans. Not all World of Warcraft players are comic book readers. So this whole Wow# 1-12 comic book is something new to certain group of Wow players. Some don't even read the pocketbooks.
The questions of our Q&A were submited by World of Warcraft fans. Specially lore fans. This interview was aimed to those who aren't into comic books to give them a notion of what it was about and how canon to the MMO and the Warcraft universe it will be. Why they should care to buy and read the comic book.
When a person is new to comic books or novels, they are unsure if to invest: is it canon? Or a butchery of lore. In this case, the comic book has more importance than we know, specially if this hero turns out to be the same hero hinted by Metzen to star in the Wow film. And more if it is indeed Varian. The Alliance is basically stranded with no leader. Come on ... Thrall vs the child king. If this guy is Varian, he will know more about the orcs, their secrets. That's something that will put fear into the Horde if he's discovered to be the King.
We might be facing a glimpse of things to come in upcoming expansions.
This latest interview will be featured at the official website news section in upcoming weeks. Nethaera has known of the interview since early October, and I have kept her updated.
