Series 1 Warcraft action figures on sale
WorldofWarcraft.com yesterday announced that the Series 1 World of Warcraft Action Figures are now in stores and ready to fill up your Christmas shopping list. Series 1, created by DC Unlimited, currently has five figures in it, and they are exquisite in their detail. These are high quality babies with multiple points of articulation, and I know I am definitely going to want to get me a set. Comic book stores across the country currently have them in stock and ready to take home, or if you prefer, stop by your local Toy-R-Us. I did a little web digging and found that they are also available on ToysRUs.com for about $12.00, although they are listed as a Pre-Order item still, so you might have to wait a couple of weeks on an Internet purchase.

Finding Christmas presents just got a little bit easier with that warlock figure. Very nice.

These figures are awful... it's an obvious Blizzard plot to force players to only play Belf Rogues, Dwarven Warriors, Orc Shammies and Undead 'locks. This smacks of Horde favoritism. Blizz hates my class. And my race.
LOL... just kidding. I love how these look. I'd love to get my hands on the Illidan figure, but I'm betting that that (and the 'lock) will be the first ones off the shelves. :)

Where is the Troll Priest at!

Actually, your local comic book store should already have them - they were released to comic book stores a few week ago - I've had the 'lock, warrior, and shammy duking it out on my desk at work for a while. Even started a new Dwarf Warrior after being inspired by my teeny armored ball of death.

I picked up all four last week. The Warlock looks pretty good, but the Orc Shaman is really amazing. You just have to see it in person to see what I mean. All in all it is a great set and I can't wait until Series 2.

gnome warrior wielding ashbringer. priceless.

I saw these at BlizzCon and pre-ordered the warlock and shaman. Dwarves just....*shudder*. I also pre-ordered Illidan, which just looked amazing.

Got all 4 at the comic book shop...are these really going to show up at your local Toys R Us? This was a DC Direct item and usually those don't end up in TRU stores. You'll *probably* only find these in comic book shops.
I liked them all except for the dwarf warrior...don't really like the sculpt on that one.
Can't wait for Series 2 with the gnome on the mechanostrider mount. I hope they also branch out into other areas, like mobs...would love to see some diaper wearing ogres and a murloc armybuilder set would be entirely too awesome.

Thanks for the heads up! Got me a sexy 'lock online.

"or if you prefer, stop by your local Toy-R-Us."
Did a little checking. Yeah, this is DC Direct which goes through Diamond distributors, so the odds of this showing up at your local Toys-R-Us is pretty much zero. Buy them online or find a comic book store stocking them.

The only gnome in the series is a Warrior? WTF? Where is my mage at? They have no mage at all of any race.
/FAIL

None of my local comic shops are carrying or are even going to carry these figures. :( Guess I'll go the TRU route, and even then I still have to mail order them because the local store doesn't have them.
