Breakfast topic: What do you pack for a raid?

You wouldn't go to Cancun, Rome or New Zealand without packing items appropriate for the trip -- so why should you go to the Black Temple or Karazhan any less prepared? Levenah of the World of Warcraft Livejournal community asked players, "What do you carry for a raid?" She personally slings an impressive number of potions, a good amount of weapon oil and holy candles, and what appears to be one banana.
Most of the respondents seem to carry multiple stacks of every potion and food available, which makes me feel slack -- back when I was raiding, I came with about 10 healing pots, a stack of plus agi food, and then five to ten or so of my choice offensive and defensive elixirs. Oh, and 20 of each poison and Flash Powder, and usually a small amount of the Blinding Powder that no one ever asks me to use.
I know that tanking and healing classes tend to have to bring more items than DPS -- and this isn't even counting all the various sets a druid has to carry! What's on your packing list for a raid?

tanking gear, dps gear, off tanking gear (a mix of the first 2 mostly), and healing gear. Beyond that, 40 MotW reagents, 20 battle rez seeds, 20 (if I can) of each kind of fishing food, and of course:

First, the banana in her SS is the Bananas the monkey pet from the card game.
As my mage, generally they group us with a Spriest, but as my backup
for BT/Hyjal runs I carry:
60 Arcane Powder
20 super mana
10 super health
2 spell damage oil
Stack of Flask of Pure Death
Spell damage food
5 Marks of the Illidari (for backup in case I can't get my flasks
made)
Lots of conjured water and a few croissants

Main (Warlock): Usually around 40 Soul Shards, 20 Spelldmg food, 2 of those oils that you smear onto weapons to improve spelldmg, 10 Super Heal Pots, 5 Super Mana Pots, plus some Elixirs (Master, Adept, ...)
Warrior: Since she's just a twink, I don't have the usual Warrior problem (tree bags full of armour: Off equip, plus Def equip in five different resistance flavors). For instances, I take 10 super health pots and some +Sta / +Dex foods; since she's my Alchemy twink, she usually has all the other potions lying around as well. And, erm: no, my twinks don't have heroic keys.
Hunter: Agi/Attack foods and pots, lots of arrows, some spare arrows. Hint: Pack at least 2 different types of arrow/bullet. I usually carry 2 - 4 stacks of an alternate kind, e.g. the Halaa bullets/arrows from Nagrand. This way, if I run out somewhere, I'll usually have some 400-800 shots in reserve.

1 or 2 Flasks of Mighty Restoration
A few Adept's Elixirs and Elixirs of Draenic Wisdom, just in case.
Full stack of Ankhs
20-30 Super Mana Potions
Full Healing set
A few Wizard/Mana Oils

As a Holy Pally:
Stack of Healing and mp5 food, depending on fight
Healing gear and spell crit/mp5 gear
Stack of Elixir of Draneic Wisdom/Major Mageblood, depending on fight
Stack of Adept's Elixir (spell crit)
Runes of warding and shielding
1 or 2 Mana oils (Brilliant or Superior)
Most of it is dependent on trash pulls (mostly healing gear/food related) or bosses (mostly mp5 or spellcrit)

I raid primarily as a Holy Paladin, but swap on a moment's notice to any spec that's needed. As such, I bring a set of gear for each spec, Healing, Tanking, DPS. These things are on my person at all times.
Next, I bring the right foods. One stack of +heal food, one stack of +stamina food, and one stack of +strength food. And while I can cook everything anyone would want, and will do so at any time, I do not bring fire making. Wasted bag slots because of proper planning do not make for happy Paladins. If you want it cooked on a raid, bring your own fire.
I generally have two stacks of Mana pots and health pots. When I am healing, I will rarely use more than one or two in a 5 hour raid. Other specs require a lot more consumption.
I generally have a stack or oils too, either +mana or +spell damage. These are really less essential than most items I could bring, but they got in the bags and occasionally prove useful so they stay.
Most importantly, and I cannot stress this enough for people who want to be serious raiders... I bring enough flasks to cover the entire raiding window. If you are raiding for two hours, bring one. If you're raiding for 4 hours, bring two. You cannot consider yourself serious about raiding unless you have flasks with you. Once considered a luxury, raids are being created with the expectation of flasks these days. People who try to save flasks for bosses and end up clearing the same trash over and over should learn that harsh lesson.

As a T5 rogue, my standard pack entails:
1 stack of each poison
1 stack of blinding powder
1 stack of Adamantite Sharpening Stones for those pesky poison/bleed immunes
2 stacks of Flash Powder
1-2 Healing Potion Injectors and/or a stack of the zone specific variety
1-2 stacks of buff food (either AGI or Ravager Dog, and some Stam food for fights where I need to take a hit)
Flasks of Relentless Assault and/or Elixir of Major Agility
Various Engineering gadgets (Repair bots, jumper cables, etc.)
Bandages.
Lacrox Nov 8th 2007 9:32AM
As a Holy Paladin, I usually only take;
15x Mana Pots
10x Heal Pots
150x Buff Reagents
20x Bandages
10x Netherweave Cloth
40x Food
40x Water
20x +Heal Food
20x Mana Oil
And my damange gear on the off-chance I need to go Shockadin on some mobs. Also, Mr Speedy.
Christina Nov 8th 2007 9:32AM
As a hunter/engineer in Kara, I bring:
A full ammo pouch of adamantite shells (and 6 or so extra stacks)
1 mana potion injector
1 health potion injector (this lasts longer than the mana injector)
1 stack of warp burgers
1 stack of smoked talbuk venison (for the pet)
1 stack of ravager dogs
Elixirs of Major Agility (I'm pretty sparing with these)
40 Heavy Netherweave Bandages
Extra +stam food
Simon Nov 8th 2007 9:32AM
25(at least) Super mana pots per raid
2 flasks
20+ damage food
1-2 dmg oils
Charles Nov 8th 2007 9:37AM
Enhance Shaman
-2H Axe
-Essentials of Healing Set (Tier Gear and Weapon / Shield) for Offhealing
-Stack of Clefthoof Meat
-Stack of Major Strength Pots
-5 Health and Mana Pots
-Stack of Shiny Fish Scales and Fish Oil (You never know when you're going to run into that LAKE in Kara?! Though I suppose I'll be bringing more when we start SSC)
-Parachute Cloak (For summoning those late comers when we haven't cleared Illhoof)
-5 stacks of water
-Vanity Pet! Right now its my squashling.
-Stack of Deviate Fish (because I hate the draenei look)
Gemski Nov 8th 2007 9:42AM
Two stacks of Arcane Powder. About four stacks of super mana pots. About one stack of spelldmg food. Two flask.
ScottyO Nov 8th 2007 9:49AM
Does nobody else use scrolls? As a rogue I always bring
-a couple flasks (either gruul's or relentless assault)
-stack of bandages
-all my poisons
-resist gear
-pvp gear in case the summoning stone is camped
-5 scrolls of strength V
-5 scrolls of agility V
-20 Ravager Dogs
-5 or so stam food
-Super heals
-Haste potions if I can find them
Using agility or strength elixirs for melee is just silly, you could use onslaught elixir for AP AND have your AGI and STR from scrolls.
