Reader Fragile sends us this interesting shot of a graphical glitch in Orgrimmar. My question, however -- is the quest just that big or is the Orc just that small? Interestingly, though I have seen several shots of this nature from the wandering quest NPCs in Ogrimmar, I've never seen the giant quest markers anywhere else. Have any of you run into this graphical bug elsewhere in the world?

I've had this very glitch before, it's usually the Darkmoon Faire questgivers in Org and IF. The ! really is that huge, it's not the Orc.

i think most of you fellas have fallen for a perspective joke. I actually took a snapshot on a closed up ! and had a buddy of mine stand in a way just underneath the ! and it looks like an orc (or any other race) with a giant ! on their heads. Not saying it migh not be a glitch as others reported, but i think it can be constructed as well.

Quite a few times in Warsong Gulch, I've seen people running around with their name and guild in a gigantic font size. I don't know what causes it but it is truly annoying.

Lol, i think Sietepestes is right. It's quite possible to do something like that. But if Kanuris is telling the truth it might just really happened like this... :P

It is a visual bug, happens to me with names usually but every so often with the '?' or '!' for quests as well. Love when it is in PvP because I can see them coming from a mile away.
A quick reloadui fixes it.

I've seen a similar glitch in battlegrounds, where player names are very huge and noticable from across the battlefield.

its not a camera trick, the ! is actually that huge.
i have a screenshot just like this one at home (im at work now). it happened maybe a month or so ago, on that same NPC in Org

It's not a perspective trick, I've had this glitch from a questgiver in org during orphans' week, except with the "?" - very weird.

I have the same screenshot. I thought that in one of the previous patches, the patch notes said that they can now scale the "!" or "?" to different sizes. I think I've only ever seen it once, after a patch release, and on that NPC in Org.

You have got to be kidding. This is like watching a bunch of hayseeds talk about how awesome it is that pencils have the graphite inside them. AMAZING! Why does WoW Insider waste so much time with bull hockey? This isn't even vaguely interesting unless you've never heard of perspective, and that's for school, not WoW.

i sent in a SS of this to Worldofwarcraft.com for SSOTD submission, with the caption "man this must be a really important quest!" and they didnt like it...sad...i liked it LoL
