@12: That's roughly exactly it: There's nothing in the Lore about how the roughly feudal systems of the human kingdoms break down. While I'm not /supported/, per se, by Lore, I'm not contradicting it anywhere. If it's contradicted, I have a handy out (he could always be lying or insane, both of which are real possibilities already) but I tried to find out if there was any contradicting points in established Lore and I couldn't find any. If I'm wrong, I'd really like to know.But this is exactly the thrust of my question, where do you draw the lines? Do you have to be supported by established setting to be 'in game'? To not actively break canon while remaining 'in feel'? Or must you be rigidly supported by canon at all points?Where's the line?
