Breakfast Topic: Your doppleganger

I am engaged to Grandmaster Vorpil. I found this out during my first run of Shadow Labyrinth, when I bumped into my fiance, who was not in my party. Fortunately, my confusion kept me from attempting any communication with Vorpil, as he turned out to be somewhat prickly.
Of course, just because Vorpil dresses just like my fiance, has the same hair and nearly identical features, does not mean he's exactly the same. Actually, he's a touch more pallid. That's when it was pointed out to me that I very much resemble a cross between Thrall and Drek'thar. Harumphing, I pointed out that the skin was all wrong and that I have an owl.
I began to ponder what other famous NPCs look like me (!), or one of my alts. Have you ever bumped into your NPC doppleganger? Furthermore, have you ever met a twin from another realm in a merged battleground? A couple of months ago I found a holy pally with my shield, my hair, my skin, and my name (spelled with inferiority) in Warsong. The moment was definitely eerie.
I also cannot help but wonder how Wrath of the Lich King will affect all of this. Will we finally be able to break away from looking like a third of all NPCs of a given race? Will the customization allow us to avoid bumping into ourselves in battlegrounds?

My draenei mage looks like the bag vendor on the Exodar, and there's a guard in Shadowprey Village that looks just like my troll priest. Considering the current lack of customisation options, I'm surprised I haven't run into more clones of myself! :}

There's a quest in Blade Edge's that ivolves killing a female draenei cultist named mob, which was quite creepy, as she looks like my chara's long-lost twin. Never seen a player twin, though.

Tauren Druid.
Identical to every other t4-wearing tauren druid. 25man raids theres often 5+ of us all with practically identical gear, indistinguishable from each.
WTB - Better tauren hairstyles!

As a warlock, at a certain level, we all look the same, we all wear the enchanted gold bloodrobe with whitemane's chapeau (it's quite dashing really). I haven't run into anyone else with my name yet, but last week in WSG, I had my felguard out, and a hordie had their felguard out, our two feluards had the same exacgt name, and it was very confusing (why is my pet attacking me, I thought, until I realized what was going on)

I once saw my exact twin Night Elf male purple-haired priest in Ironforge.
Creepy part is, we were both wearing the exact same robes, pants, gloves, and staff. It was like a mirror.

While running 2v2 arena I came face to face with a dwarf that looked just like the guy I was running with. Even though I knew it wasn't him it still took me a second or two to actually attack him. :)

There are a metric ton of tauren warriors with the same gear as mine in AV. Luckily, I chose the all-white skin, so I look different in my tanking gear at least.

My raidgroup take great pleasure in telling me my human warrior looks like Romulo, everytime we run Kara. My toon's skin is much darker and he has a goatee; still, I knew that ponytail would turn out to be a mistake.

around 60-63, i frequently ran into mages, warlocks, and priests who were geared almost precisely the same as me... in more than one case, instance runs would consist of a warrior, a rogue, and 3 completely indistinguishable caster triplets.

My main character looks exactly like High General Abbendis. :P

Both the tailoring trainer and the enchanting trainer in Thrallmar look a lot like my Blood Elf warlock who used to be wearing Robes of the Lich.

I have the same face as Lady Prestor in Stormwind Keep. When I got the same Robe of Volatile Power from MC I ran right up there to pose next to her for a screenshot. If I wanted to change my hair color and style when WotLK comes out I could be her twin.
Also, my troll rogue looks a lot like the Panther boss in ZG.

I'm a twin of the Shade of Aran, but in a much better mood.
Gear-wise, I'm the twin of another warlock in our guild, but I have a few feet of height on him. It's confusing though, when we're both using Noggenfogger Elixir and turn to skeletons. Same weapon, robe, helm, tabard, etc.

Kara-geared locks/frost mages will eventually look the same. Spellstrike hood/pants, Frozen Shadoweave set, Blade of the Archmage/Continuum Blade (the models are the same), and goes on. Also, "Spaulders of the Torn-heart" (one of the best shoulders pre-epics) also share the same model with FSW, so you're going to find those shoulders around a LOT.
Even some priests/healers in general on my group are starting to looking alike casters: the Masquerade Gown shares the same model with FSW, with a few, barely noticeable, different colors.
Blizz definitely needs to work better on the new models on WotLK. It's just silly to find so many equips sharing the same model.

I've not found any NPC's that look like my main, but I have run into several players with the same beard and haircut. It seems to be a popular look for dwarves.
