Don't turn in your quests!
If you are questing tonight on a level 30 to 60 character, save your quest turn-ins for after Patch 2.3 hits tomorrow. Eyonix has verified that waiting to turn in most of your quests after the patch will earn you more experience. Not all quests will yield more experience post 2.3, however. For example, the experience from bread crumb quests will remain the same.
What are bread crumb quests? (I didn't know, either.) Eyonix defines them as quests designed to move you on to the next area. So when dwarf/orc guy sends you to Thenextzoneover with a message for Captain Needssomehelp, that's a bread crumb quest. Go ahead and turn that one in tonight, if you like.
That isn't to say you shouldn't log in tonight. There is still plenty of time to get some farming done. Also, if you have been on hiatus until the patch, you may want to log in now just in case you have something to download.
Of course, those of you on European servers have a little extra time for hoarding quests.
My pally is in Booty Bay, ready to turn in 2 quests tomorrow. Did I catch you in time? Do you have quests to save until after the patch?

You know there is at-least one person out there with their entire quest log full of completed quests.

I've saved loads of my 40s quests, like 10 of them.
Plus I've spent all the past week in BGs/SW, so I have nearly 200k rested XP for tomorrow when 2.3 is rolled out in the UK! ;)
Been telling all my guildies to do the same, but non of them have listened! xD I will come out with the most though, some new pvp items, a few levels of rest and loads of quests to turn in for higher XP! ;)

You mean level 20 to 60
Kyralahn Nov 13th 2007 3:48AM
No, it's 30-60 quests. 20-60 is the reduced leveling curve.
Stig Nov 13th 2007 4:39AM
Its still not a bad idea to keep the 20-30 quests in your log because they'll give you more of a level then before. You'll just get more mileage from the quests, so no reason to not keep them till after the patch.

I have a bunch (probably 15) in Felwood, Winterspring, Burning Steppes etc. to turn in. Hit 55 last night, hopefully this pushes me close to 56 and I can begin the fight against the boards in Outland for 2 levels...

oh poo. I just wanted the ding. I got the ding... oh the sweet sweet siren call of the ding beckoned me to the rocks of WorthMoreXP Tomorrow... Foul Ding-y temptress!
to reiterate: oh poo.

I haven't played at all since like August. All that extra XP is waiting to be earned and all the reduced total XP needed to DING is ready to be exploited! WOOT! I picked the perfect time to take a WoW break!

AAAuggh!!! Why didn't I think of that?? I finished all the STV Mastry quests, bloodscalp ears, troll legends, Green Hills of STV, Water Elemental Bracers last night, turned them all in and then moved on to Desolace...
Amanda Nov 13th 2007 1:24PM
No! >_<
I totally spaced and turned in about 25 quests before I went to bed last night. :/
