Forum post of the day: Patch 8.4 notes

Patch days always bring rumors of the next patch -- but I've got to say, this is the first time I've seen rumors of the patch 50ish patches from now.
Zuzupetals starts off the madness by asking if anyone else had heard if 8.4 would be holodeck compatible. Other notable rumors of 8.4 include:
- Polymorph: Murloc now works on Murlocs.
- The druid Overmind form has been fixed.
- The new Player vs. Player system of 6.0 has been removed due to major HMOs declining medical insurance for WoW players, and has been replaced with the old Character vs. Character system.
- In Alterac Valley, Drek'thar and Vann Stormpike have been moved to a floating island surrounded by Monstrous Kaliri with an improved daze rate to prevent exploiting.
- Ender Wiggin has made his arena team consisting of him, and him alone - he plays in the 1v25 bracket (2890 rating)
- Blessing of Protection has a new graphic. A large neon sign saying "Purge me" will appear above the target's head.
- Bug fixes for the quests given by five hundred animals to kill Hemet Nesingwary, Hemet Nesingwary Jr., and Hemet Nesingwary III.
- WoW = Waiting on World-ending-due-to-the-sun-burning-out.

Due to an increase to the level cap from level 260 to 270, when you start a new character and complete your first quest you are immediately sent forward in time until you reach level 200.
From there you gain 150K experience per kill until you reach lvl 270, where you gain 6K gold per daily quest completed.
Once you get to lvl 270, you must spend 1.5M gold to get the Starshooter mount, which increases your speed by 1560%

this touches a little bit on a subject i often wonder about... when will it end? im sure there will be a day (unimaginable) when the last of the WoW servers will be turned off, and we won't be able to log in for our daily fix... when will that be? what will become of a world without the world of warcraft?

wiggin and bean is in reference to the book Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. It's admittedly an amazing book, and has very much developed a cult following.

WoW end? It has been almost a decade and EverQuest is still rocking. I have no idea how.
I mean seriously, that game was rough on the eyes in 2001. And a giant pain in the arse. Way to make a game not fun sony.
WoW will eventually end up as some part of sony station's promotional deals (after sony buys blizzard or something. I don't actually think it will happen.) "Buy a new HD-BluRay 3 player and receive a lifetime subscription to the classic "World of Warcraft" for your PDAPhoneIpod!
