Not all loot has been upgraded. Like the Defias belt has (from 5str to like 18ap), but the other green Defias pieces haven't been touched.

Also, not ALL gathering nodes glitter like a lootable mob, just the ones you can pick. A-la, I saw herbs sparkle on my shaman, but not mining nodes. I saw mining nodes sparkle on my rogue, but not herbs.
