Shaman changes in 2.3.2
Following the trend of releasing information about class changes today, Eyonix has chimed in again to give hints of what's in store for Shaman shields in the next patch. Lightning and Earth Shield will both have their mana cost reduced. Water Shield will receive a change in its function to keep the poor shammies from having to refresh it all the time. Apparently it will still return the same amount of mana, but in a less annoying fashion. Eyonix suggests that it will essentially give a sizeable chunk of MP5.I don't play a Shaman much, but I've been chatting with the ones in my guild about these changes. So far they seem most excited about the new Water Shield. What do the rest of you think?

So will Water Shield reapply itself to you after it ticks down?
Thats something I always wanted, I'll need to look more into it to make sure thats what you mean.

No, it will still disappear after you're hit 3 times. The change is to the mana return received in situations where you are not being hit. Before: At the end of a minute you'd receive 600ish mana when the buff disappeared. Now: While the buff (10 minutes if not hit) is up you will receive extra mana regeneration mixed in with you regular ticks. Still has charges that reward you mana for being attacked and disappears after the third charge is used.

However if your going to quote that 'X blue' said 'X thing' was going to happen, could at least one of the seven links please be to the source of the information please John?

I can only hope the new water shield still restores mana when it gets dispelled; it was nice having infinite mana if a lock was silly enough to fel-puppy me.

Does it still cost no mana to cast?
