Your arguement is moot, because as shown in many AE/CoC AoEing videos, you have mobs bashing on you constantly. So saying it's a horrible AoEing strat because you have mobs COMING AT YOU, while ignoring that mobs are ON YOU the entire time while doing a CoC/AE thing seems like you really don't know what you're talking about.
Not to mention that you have apparentally never done a true Blizzard AoEing strat, because in most cases, you do not leave them in a line, nor do mobs have any conception of othe rmobs, so they do not space themselves out from other mobs. They bunch up onyou, and move in a group. Plus, you have FN to hold them in place while you are positioning yourself, and blink for distance.
Now, I'm sure people have done perfectly fine w/ AE/CoC/Flamestrike...but personally, I'd rather just have to drink up on mana, knowing full well my HP is fine should something go wrong, as opposed to knowing that no matter what, I'm going to take damage, and most likely die sitting next to the mobs the entire time.
