I used to AoE grinding using the Nova, Firestrike, CoC, AE, Nova, etc routine seen in Faxmonkey's movies. The advantage of this technique is that it still works if you DO have frostbyte.

However, I too saw in frost we trust so I gave the blizzard routine a go and simply put it is vastly superiour to the CoC/Nova routine.

If you're planning on using the blizzard method then here's a little tip. Gather the mobs with your mount, circle around them to group them up and when they're packed together run INTO the group, Jump and Nova. What will happen is you'll dismount and nova but you'll still travel at 60% or 100% extra speed landing out of melee range.
