I used to try to stick to rested leveling but not any more.

I took my priest from 33 to 44 and my mage from 37 to 42 in seven days. Rested just isn't needed for fast leveling anymore. Especially in the mid 30 range with the new Dustwallow Marsh quests. Even STV is not so bad with the Rebel Camp FP. Now you can get to it without the long walk.

btw... if you're going to power level then mining will help with the gold problem.
