WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

Two more big announcements from Dell and WoW Insider

You've probably already read the big news. Dell has the ultimate WoW gaming laptop up for sale next week (earlier for those who signed up through their banner campaign.) Dell has two more surprises up their sleeve.

First, they sent us one for review. I received my Dell XPS 1730 World of Warcraft Edition laptop and goodie bundle yesterday. I will be putting it through the paces this week and reporting on it here on WoW Insider.

Second, Dell is providing us with one of these bad boys with all the WoW extras that go with it to give away to you, faithful readers. That's right: Dell and WoW Insider are giving away a $5k+ gaming laptop. Details will be announced soon.

Until then, check out the gallery below and read more details on the special edition laptop after the jump!

The spec sheet for the Dell XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition lists the following:
  • Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 (2.8 GHz) processor

  • 17" WUXGA with TrueLife monitor

The notebook can be ordered in either Horde or Alliance theme which affects the images on the outside cover as well as the original art of the desktop image. World of Warcraft is preloaded and fully patched up to 2.3.

Packaged with the notebook is a boatload of WoW goodies and extras including:
  • World of Warcraft retail box
  • The Burning Crusade retail box
  • Two Brady strategy guides
  • Two official Warcraft novels
  • World of Warcraft soundtrack on cd
  • The Behind the Scenes "The Making of WoW" DVD
  • Two WoW Trading Card Game box sets
All of this comes with a large backpack suitable for carrying around your notebook and all the cables you need.

In addition to all that, there are three very special items included as well:
  • A Blizzard beta key card good for five beta keys of future WoW games
  • An upgrade certificate so you can claim the Collector's Edition in-game pets
  • A Golden Ticket good for one custom action figure based on your in-game toon
Those who signed up on Dell's site during the teaser campaign will be receiving an e-mail today with a special link that will allow them to order this special edition laptop early. The rest of us must wait until December 11th to purchase it on Dell's XPS site. These will be pricing at $4,499 to start.
