When someone says "Alliance sucks" or "Horde sucks" or "X sucks" they usually mean "I just got killed by X." So they say the opposite of what they mean.

Please do not encourage 'role playing' in the various channels. The trade channel is for people who seek some sort of economic transaction. Just last night some kids were repeatedly licking each other in the trade channel. Ugh.

I'm all for PvP in the battle grounds, or defending a town that under attack from the other faction, but out in the wild, I've been saved many times by the opposite faction. I help them too, if I see they are in trouble. If you haven't had the experience of unexpectedly completing a quest and NOT doing a graveyard run because a player of the other side stepped in at the right time, I feel sorry for you.
