Easy source of cash, and it's more varying than grinding even if you do them for god-knows-how-many times.

Its a reliable time investment. You know that if you spend 30 mins doing 5 easy quests then you will have 55gold. That certainty more than makes up for the repetitiveness of the quests. If you have the time and can do 10 quests each day then its even better.

I do them, but not every day, nor with every 70 I have. If I need gold for something, I'll grind them out regularly till I have what I need, and even then I pick and choose from those available, tending to do the easily and quickly completed ones. And of course, those that don't require a race to the mob.

I do the PvP one and sometimes Daily HC/Daily Dungeon
Any others?

The quests on the netherledge, particularly the ones in the mines, are the best moneymakers. The catch-22 is that to get those you have to have already dropped the 5k for the epic riding.

I would rather farm than do quests. But that is just me.
Aigarius Dec 16th 2007 8:31AM
Only grind them if I need the gold. Considering that I already have the 5k gold riding skill and thus the Netherwing dailies, I can just do the dailies that I like and still have more than 10 dailies to choose from. Usually I do cooking, skettis and ogri'la bombing (very fast and easy on an epic flyer) and then dive into the netherwing mine to mine ore, collect lost shipments and kill flyers. If I need more money I would go for PVP daily, booterang, daily dungeon, daily heroic and twilight portal. That all together is well over 250g (considering selling the prison key), a bunch of heroic badges (10 badges per nether = 10g per badge at least, even if you do not need the badge gear), a chance at cooking recipe, a nether and all kinds of random drops. A fun filled day with nothing but dailies.

daily quests bore me because I have to think slightly about what I'm doing. Seems weird eh?
Well the basic gist is: while grinding I don't have to think about anything. Its just pull a mob, press 1,2,3,4 and it dies. pull another. So I can totally space out and still get it done. With dailies it requires a mediocre amount of thought and therefore requires me to think without using even 1% of brainpower forcing the rest to go wandering. Thus boredom sets in.

I never got into the daily quest grind. My first 70 is a 375 JC and i just work the ah, buying raw gems, cutting them and reposting each one for 5-20g profit.
Mystical Parrot Dec 16th 2007 9:03AM
i generally do a little 30-40 min stint a day for about 60g inc greys, as my main has an epic flying mount ive no real need for money but it'll be nice for when my shammy gets to 70.
Ryan Dec 16th 2007 9:35AM
Not nearly as much gold as a herbing + mining alt. I do them if I want the rep or some other reward, then the gold is just a bonus.
Marsh Dec 16th 2007 9:36AM
I stopped doing them after a couple weeks. Too boring. Only good daily is the pvp one. I don't bother with the daily heroic quests due to a few bad experiences. I can never seem to find a group that can clear the whole instance. Then I'm saved to that group and I can't complete the daily. I hope the devs remove the saved mechanic to heroics.
I really hope they add more daily pvp quests and pvp leveling quests in northrend. A quest telling me to kill 20 enemy players would be great. We need some epic world pvp in this game like the old TM vs SS.
Balasan Dec 16th 2007 9:55AM
I do it religiously everyday. Most probably coz I'm an altitis and I need the money to support my alts >< Also, being a holy specced raiding paladin, I really need the money for repair bills, especially since we're very new to SSC... 50g repair bills 3 days a week ftl.
Sylythn Dec 16th 2007 10:13AM
I avoid them like the plague until I really need the money. I don't play WoW to do chores, and having to do these on a daily basis feels like chores. In fact, I've been known to go do the dishes, vacuum or do laundry rather than do my dailies.
Merus Dec 16th 2007 10:37AM
I still need gold, but for the most part I do the BG dailies, the dungeon dailies and the Ogri'la bombing run, the memory game and the demon killing because they're fun and somewhat challenging. The demon killing elevates itself above your regular kill quest by the huge amount of competition for mobs and that each mob has something of a trick to it.
I really like the ethereum keys, though.
Juneau Dec 16th 2007 11:13AM
Most days I just really can't be arsed to do my dailies. I really should though, I'm really strapped for cash at the moment.
Milktub Dec 16th 2007 11:39AM
I'd rather herb/mote farm while waiting for a 5-man pug, which is what I do. Mostly it's a lack of rewards ... hmm, do dailies for a month so I can get a different mount? No thanks. Sure, Og'rilla has some fine rewards for me, but so does the Consortium or Keepers of Time.
Snailking Dec 16th 2007 12:48PM
Daily quests feel like grocery shopping.
theRaptor Dec 16th 2007 12:59PM
I just got my second 70 attuned to all the Ogri'la quests. Personally I would rather do dailies then grind, a bit more variation then 1,2,3,4 and little risk of unwanted PVP. As my battlegroup has 40 minute to one hour AV queue's, I run all my dailies while waiting for AV to pop.
