World of WarCrafts: Healing Potion Punch
Every Wednesday World of WarCrafts features a recipe that shows you how to make own real life version of in-game recipes and items. In the spirit of upcoming Christmas Winter Veil parties I thought that a drink might be a needed component. Now the drinks in WoW aren't exactly something you would want to serve at a party, Refreshing Spring Water, Ice Cold Milk and Moonberry Juice don't seem very....... festive to me. BUT! What about Healing Potions? Now hear me out. There has to something about those things if you have to wait two minutes to drink them.
So, to that end I decided to create Healing Potion Punch.
Healing Potion Punch
48 oz Moonberry Juice
3/4 cup of Sweet Nectar
1 cup lime juice
2 liter bottle of Sprite, ginger ale or other clear soda
Mix the juices in a punch bowl and mix well. Add soda slowly so as not to let it overflow. To serve add ice and Terokkar Chokeberrys if desired. Enjoy!
To make a Volatile Healing Potion Punch add your favorite alcoholic beverage.
Translation key:
Moonberry Juice- Hawaiian Punch or other red fruit punch
Sweet Nectar- frozen pineapple juice concentrate
Terokkar Chokeberrys- frozen strawberries or raspberries

This needs alcohol. As much golden grain as you can handle!

Agreed, vodka or rum would go nicely imo.

It really needs vodka. If we're going to be chugging these things up in Northrend, we'll need something that won't freeze.
Also the two minute cooldown encourages responsible consumption of alcohol.

Malibu Rum
Jagermeister
Peach Schnapps
Cranberry Juice
Pineapple Juice
That makes a good healing potion.

Haha, I love overheals.

I'd hate to think of the effects of putting 20 of those in to a healing potion injector.

Sounds delicious. Add some vodka, and it's great for a little holiday drunkenness. :)

You need to try mine and Kiki's [Blood of the Innocent] (reference to a Scholomance item)
Take a pint-glass.
Add 1/3 beer of your choice
Add 1/3 mixed vodka drink of your choice.
Add 1/3 alcoholic cider
Top off with Black Currant or Cherry cordial and 2 shots of vodka.
For those feeling suicidal, replace the vodka shots with Absinthe.
TB.

Interesting. My uncle-of-sorts has a very similar recipe which he refers to as the Deathtrap. Basically, you replace the beer with neat absinthe (the untreated stuff), and then replace the vodka shots with Bombay Saphire and the fruit cordial with Brandy Alexander (a cocktail in itself). It is Made of Win and Awesome in equal quantities, and I recommend it highly.

I don't think that the standard Healing potion should contain alcohol - I never get drunk even with hundreds of potions.
