Free character moves for Oceanic realms

In what must be extremely welcome news to players down under, Blizzard is offering free character transfers from overpopulated Oceanic realms starting today, Thursday, December 20th until December 27th or until transfer goals are met.Because they will close the transfers early if necessary, Drysc highly recommends that if you are planning to move your characters that you do so as soon as possible. If you wish to take advantage of the free move, go to this link, where it will ask you for your account info before proceeding.
Blizzard has also opened a new PvE realm, specifically for this transfer. New character creation on Caelestrasz will be turned off until the transfers have been completed.
The eligible Oceanic realms are listed after the jump.

I have often read that the Oceanic queues are unbearable. Hopefully people will take advantage of these transfers to reduce them.

When we transferred from Uther to Azuremyst, we made new characters on Uther and transferred them too.
A friend of mine was one of the first Draenei to start levelling on Azuremyst...

Back in my early days, when I was running Wailing Caverns on my main (phew, that's old), We went up and fought that big huge plant dude with our group. Somewhere along the way up, our rogue fell down the long drop back towards the main chamber. He must have gotten disoriented on his way back, because by the time he got back up to us (we killed the boss without incident) he had a raid's worth of snakes coming with. Samuel L. Jackson would be proud, or possibly ashamed.

Ok, so they _do_ still know how to make new servers. Now how about a couple for people that want to level on a server where every first hasn't been done, and the AQ gates haven't been opened?

AQ's permanently open these days, so basically you'll have to take your memories, put them in a box, and just play for yourself instead of trying to get server firsts.

Our guild on Dath remar is currently discussing moving as a guild... art least 3 officers have said they are considering moiving even if the guild doesn't (Potential guild watch drama alert) I want to move... think of it... server first... Hogger.

My guild on dath is staying, but heard of several other raiding guilds that are leaving, as good as it is to clear up the queues, always sucks to lose some of the personality of the server, guess we'll see how this effects us.

This is a bandaid at best, at least for the PvP side of things. Thaurissan is already High pop, it's just going to create more even queues across the board on all the PvP servers.

Yeah, what's the point of opening up transfer to a high pop server? We need a new PvP realm.

I'll move if my guild and server BFF do. The new server would be unbearable without them. And I'm on Aman'Thul, and I can say that I've had a thirty-minute queue a couple times, so this is a great change for me if a lot of people decide to take the transfer to Cael

And lately I've had at least a half hours wait to get on Jubei'thos whenever I play, not overly enthusiastic about hopping on either...

Dammit I quit WoW a while ago due to queues in Dath, Im glad i've done it though =p
When are they gonna make an RPPVP Server for us Oceanians!? That was all I ever wanted!
