Everything known (and unknown) about patches 2.4 and 2.3.2
MMO-Champion has compiled two handy listings of information about upcoming patches: everything we know so far about patch 2.4, as well as patch 2.3.2.WoW Insider, of course, has covered all the upcoming content in patch 2.4, as well as the changes in 2.3.2, but for those who would love to see a concise summary of the information, laid out in an easy to understand format, these pages at MMO-Champion are handy indeed.
Of course the obvious question one must ask whenever we see a list of "everything we know about X" is: "what about all that stuff we don't know?" I for one am particularly looking forward to finding out what sorts of rewards will be made available from the new Shattered Sun Offensive faction. Some sort of new mounts perhaps? Will there be a flyable dragonhawk at last? What sort of items would make people start drooling at the mouth enough to devote all kinds of time to all those daily quests?

That IS PG-13, welcome to 2007.

Yeeeah. I see worse when I open a newspaper, boyo.
As for what I'd like to see... Dragonhawk mounts'd be nice. More engineering schemata would be a plus, too.

Yeah, Eng. isn't OP enough already... >

… I'm guessing you forgot the smiley, there. Engineering is one of the most depressing profs available right now. Adding the craft-able flying mount was about the only useful thing Engies have received in a long time.

Actually, I did brackets facing each other... but the second didn't show up...
Anyways, what about dynamite? target dummies? rocket boots? You guys have a ton of things to use in combat. :)

Just to say, the pic completely distracts from the article. XD
Model viewer + Belf female = good times? :P
And I hope there is not another mount, because I'll end up lusting after it and then being torn over which one I'd want to use, dragonhawk or my cenarion gryph. It's not fair!

Actually, I'm fairly certain that's one of the screenshots already
submitted to the RPSA on WoW's main site, just cropped a bit. See
here.

I figured as much, but still wanted to poke fun at it.

I have the Cenarion Hippogryph, the Purple Netherray, Flying Machine, and normal windrider. I use a macro that randomly picks one, so I always see a variety. With this, I'd happily allow another mount. Though, having my regular backpack filled with stuff like hearthstone, those mounts, land mounts, mining pick, mote extractor, and my last pack with water, meat, and potions, NOT TO MENTION having one less bag because I'm a hunter, I really don't have much room =(

I think the game's good on engineering scematics...we really need more blacksmithing love, though. When the best BoP helmets for plate are from engineering and not smithing, and smithing has no comparable item, I see a failure.
Since BC, there have not been many smithing items that are worth making for anyone who raids. The Swiftsteel items are not a lot better than the 2.3 badge rewards, and unavailable to the majority of players unless you buy the Hearts of Darkness. Red Havoc Boots/ Boots of the Protector also saw comparable items in 2.3. The rare Boe patterns? Sure, you can sell some of the items to people, but most are not worth using, due to either a lack of stats or a speed that is too fast or too slow to be effective.
The only items that have been worth making in the expansion are resist sets (which are only good for one or two fights) sharpening stones, enchanter rods, and the occasional shield spike. Throw some patterns on factions at exalted.
Also, Please don't make building the city at The Sunwell like the AQ event. The one who banged the gong and MAYBE a few others who had good timing were the only ones who got anything out of that. Give special rewards or titles for different levels of commitment. These will still be items or rewards that not many will have, but at least everyone will have the chance to get a good reward for the effort they put in.

Armorsmiths really are suffering right now, compared to weaponsmiths, so I'd have to agree with you there.
