On the topic of computers......was hoping one of your "PC savvy" writers would take upon the topic on how to build your own WoW gaming PC. Each blog can focus on specific needs: the $1000 WoW PC, the ghetto bare-to-the-bones pc, and your Ultimate WoW PC system (well, as of today's technology). I'm currently running on a 2ghz macbook w/ 2gb ram & i can bearly run 3-4 addons w/ most of graphics on low setting. And i still get bigtime lag on large cities and multiple mob encounters. I would love to hear about what writers and experienced PC readers have to say on this subject since you really can't "build" a mac from scratch. Thanks for reading & Happy New Year to all WoW Insider & our "little" WoW community :D

This would be awesome, I know I'm looking to build a new system, especially for gaming. I kind of know where to start, but as far as what is the best among the parts, I have no idea. I'd love to hear from the more parts savvy writers.

Laptops usually have their performances turned down to save power. You should try tuning up the performance, there's probably some menu for that, but i'm not really familiar with Macbooks (they're great though ;)).
2 gigs should be more then enough to play WoW, so may I ask what kind of videocard you've got in there?

I built my current rig from scratch, C2D, 2Gb Ram, Geforce 7950GT, 400gb HD, for about $800 total, and that was with splurging a bit on a nicer case. It runs WoW at about 60frames, and can fraps at about 20-30. slickdeals.net is a godsend :D

I don't think anyone replied much to any single comment... it's not like you get an email for every comment left for that post.
Oh.. and, FOR THE HORDE!!!!!!!!
You alliance can keep trying to come up with a slogan, it just makes us laugh... you guys are so pathetically adorable.
