Umm..not everyone has the time to devote to Raiding, nor is everyone running around in guilds that can serve up 25 well geared people. The guild i'm in is full of great people, but it takes time to get a crew of 10 equipped people to start in on Kara.

No, Raiding is just another form of "elite" play; I doubt more then 20% of all WoW players raid on a regular basis.
