This happened a bit after 2.3 was out. I got invited to a guild. They were fine, great players but never had to see the GM online. People said that he was sick and would return in some days. Fine, health problems. Then one day he logs on wipes on the gbank and gets in vent saying that he's been hacked. Then he passes GM to another and gquits. Few minutes later, we discovered that he was just faking get hacked. He and some officers transfered and he changed his name. Thou he changed his name, was nothing so different. Easy to track him down. Too bad.. they looked decent people at first. :T
