Reader Sporks of Hellscream (EU) offers us this mysterious shot from Netherstorm. Sporks explains he was flying around when he thought he spotted a mine on one of the floating rocks -- but it wasn't a mine, it was the odd monument you see above (located at 41,83 if you want to check it out yourself) . What is it and why is it there? We honestly don't know. Is there anyone in the audience who can explain this little piece of Naaru architecture? (If you like this shot, we also have it in

if you look closely at the monument, you'll see the word Nova blinking. Nova was the name of the female ghost in StarCraft:Ghost. it's a toombstone and a memorial to the cancelled game.

I believe during the BC beta or a PTR or something, they actually took a Blood Elf and dressed her up in clothing to make her look like Nova as much as they could. She was stealthed and sitting out there.

Juni, that was posted in JULY, by somebody else. Cut the author some slack. Memories aren't so long as to be expected to remember every post. Besdies, if you haven't noticed yet, there is a tendancy of the authors of this blog to write posts that invite the readers to contribute information in the comments. She could have probably answered the question with research, but people actually like to put in their two cents (note the dozen people who politely answered the question before you chimed in). Too bad your two cents is a troll.
The whole point of this series is to show interesting locales in the game. It remains an interesting locale and one worth seeing in person. Too bad the game failed, but as far as I can tell, it was a failed plan from the word go. At least Blizz has the good taste to cancel bad games instead of releasing them.

yes it was a mounument to Ghost from SC, she was s BE model with a full white looking ghost suit, i saw her there 1 month after the release of BC she was removed from the game 2 months after BS was released.
