WoW Insider Show Episode 20: Droods and drama
The 20th episode of our podcast is now live for your listening pleasure over on WoW Radio's site. On Saturday afternoon, Turpster, John Patricelli (our Druid blogger) and I sat down and talked about the last week in WoW. We hit on:- A little listener email, including more Alliance slogans, and we helped a listener compare the different DPS caster classes.
- We talked a little bit with John about his other blog, Big Bear Butt, and how he started blogging for us here
- Playing the game in weird ways, including my idea to play a mute character
- If last week's AV changes will finally fix things
- Drama in a column about drama
- World PvP and how Blizzard could reward it
And don't forget that we do this every week. If you couldn't tune in to listen last Saturday, mark your calendars for this coming Saturday at 3:30pm EST to show up at WoW Radio and check the show out.

Speaking as an Englishman, Turpster embarrasses me. Please don't involve him every podcast as I can't bear to listen to him, so have stopped downloading it. My real fear is that your non-English listeners will believe he is representative of my great nation... he's not... he's a muppet...

Dude, get a sense of humor. (Not to offend you)
Turpster is the most magnificent and glorious thing to happen to this world since ice cream.

Now the serious part - I really enjoy Turpster's ramblings and how he's good with thinking on his feet and in general is witty. And no, I don't think all british people are like that. And that's a damn shame - UK would totally be the king and queen of this world.

I love Turpster! Don't get rid of him!

Stop trolling Turpster... ;)

If you dont like him fair enough, but why would anyone think that people would take Turpster as what every english person is like?
Im english and i dont think Mike and Elizabeth represent everyone in the US, that would be silly to even think that.
Also no offence to him, but would your rather have Totalbiscuit 'representing our great nation' to the rest of the world, and somehow giving off the impression, that everyone in england is as angry a Brit as TB?

I'm not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but I believe the Can't Quit You Guild orignated out of another WoW podcast. Legendary Thread(which rocks), is 1up's world of warcraft podcast. The podcast and some members of the guild are editors of magazines such as Games For Windows(who also have an amazing podcast). I think its kinda funny my two favorite wow podcasts have inadvertantly run into one another.

Really enjoyed this show. I listen to a lot of WoW podcasts, and I think it's very important to have humour wherever possible, as so many others can sound dry and dull.
I like the developing rapport that Mike and Turpster have, and without wishing to insult other contributors, I'm always a little disappointed if Mike or T miss a show...

Heh, I think you misinterpreted our guild's reaction to the guild drama blog post. Most of us were having fun with it, just as you were. Just as we should take it as a compliment that you posted about us, you all should take it as a compliment that we are still having fun with it. We aren't "enraged" as you seem to think we are. In fact, Schrammrolling is a new CQY meme. :)

Mike can you please go learn about warlocks, because pretty much everything you said about them in this episode was wrong. Warlocks are not a single target DoT class, in PVP they can DoT up a whole arena team, in PVE most of their damage is going to be coming from their nukes just like a mage. Our guilds main lock does only 15-20% of his damage through DoT's, and this is only in Karazhan. In the higher end raid content nearly all the locks are destro and just spam nukes.
Oh and have you ever actually seen Seed of Corruption? The main use of mages when AoEing is to keep the mobs off the lock so he can SoC spam kill them all.
The only reason you would roll a lock over a mage is for sheeping people, ports and kiting melee. Shadow mages ftw.

I would like to enter the contest for "Turpster send me an E-post card".
And comment #1 just plain wrong. That is all.
