Blizzard wants you... and your questions
Bornakk has sent out a request on the forums for player questions to be used in the next BlizzCast, and I can only say that I hope, hope, hope that that delivers as much comedy as it promises. As you may know if you attended any of the Q&A sessions at BlizzCon, players and their questions plus developers equals the funny.Considering that the podcasts are pre-recorded and not live, however, so odds are Blizzard will go for informative rather than confusing and awkward, but let me tell you: the latter has its advantages for sure. If you've got a question for BlizzCast, you can apparently send it to BlizzCast (at) Blizzard dot com, and hope it appears on a future BlizzCast.
And speaking of podcast questions, don't forget that the WoW Insider Show is also a podcast that answers questions, and you can ask us questions at theshow@wow.com. Unlike Blizzard, we will include the funny ones, so send away.

Dear Blizz;
With the continued emphasis on arenas and battlegrounds, a rep system which offers mostly blue rewards, professions which still only offer minimal top line equipment and require huge time investments in rep grinding to get the few limited recipes, what's honestly left for the player who wants a top level character, but doesn't like PvP, and prefers small group instances and questing?
Some of us play Wow as a social group, and PvP offers nothing to us. The heroic instances are a start, but only that. We need help here.

Nice to see that someone also shares my thinking. I just don't see why being in a bigger group than 5 people somehow makes you more deserving of rewards.
Hopefully when everything starts over with the next expansion they can readjust the balance between effort and rewards. Arena i feel at least should have been a tiered system like the old honor system, so anyone can get rewards but only those who put the real effort in can get the rewards equal to the current raid gear.

Dear Great-father Blizzard,
What is the warranty policy on the Clockwork Rocket Bot that I and 9 million other loyal level 10 players received this Winter Veil. Mine seems to have stopped shooting rockets.
How much is a recharge per month?

What did the ghost wolf taste like? I mean, now that you ate them all, leaving none for the hunters to tame?

Above comment is a possible KEYLOGGER, check this arsehats' comment history.
I believe the commenting system here is coming to an end, unless you find a way around it, which I doubt. There are way to many clickers around to pass the opportunity to maybe get another click.

Blizzard,
when WotLK hits, will you give me my mount for free, because I'll be damned if I'm gonna drop 5000 golds worth of time sink into a retarded looking flying lizard that does jack for my Raid, groups, pvp, guild, etc. Its like a fast moving non combat pet. Would you also consider never putting something like that in again too, please? Its hard enough to get people to go get gear for raids/heroics without hearing "I gotta do my netherwing dailies so I can be cool!".
Also, would you mind scrapping Blood Elves and giving us Naga? All the pretty race did was allow the Alliance cast offs to come Horde-side. I want a big snake thing to tank with from now on. You can keep your death knights too.
Xonate Jan 18th 2008 11:29AM
Totally agree with the Naga thing. Back before they announced all the new stuff that was coming out with BC, I was thinking the Horde should definitely get Naga. Can throw High Elves at the Alliance, as there are still quite a few. Leave Blood Elves to Illidan, so you don't have to make up a crazy scenario just to fit the lore. Ah well. No questions.. just... Naga for the win!

Dear Blizzard,
What is the REAL reason you went back on the word of your representative and made the Grimtotem Spirit Guides untamable?
Morthagrid Jan 18th 2008 10:15AM
Blizzard,
Warlocks. Why?
Yours sincerely,
Mort

Dear Blizzard,
I would like to know why, exactly, you have no plans for develop
the older, "forgotten" regions of Azeroth.
Players consistently ask about areas like Gilneas, Uldum, Mount Hyjal,
and the battleground in Azshara, but you only ever brush off
these questions with generic answers about how you would "like to"
develop these areas but "have no plans" to do so at this time.
But why do you have no plans? What is it about this content that
prevents it development? Is it a question of limited resources? Is it a question of game balance? Is it lore related? What's the ACTUAL reason?
Eternalpayn Jan 18th 2008 6:11PM
Dear Rhyn,
We have no plans to develop any of these areas at this time. We are continuing to move forward with new content. I promise that us CMs aren't really just robots, programmed to randomly say this to posts. I have said to much, time to reboot. I mean sleep...
