Around Azeroth: Death in the desert
Reader Lantanian from Quel'dorei offers up this screenshot straight from the Tanaris desert. Though you can clearly see Gadgetzan not-too-far in the distance, it was apparently too far for one poor traveler, who succumbed to the wilderness just outside of town.

"Succumbed to the wilderness" as in "got ripped to shreds by scorpids", as it appears. See, this is what happens when a level 25 hears how cool the Caverns of Time are and just HAS to see it.

I was just looking at that blood stain a few hours ago - there are two skulls and two blood stains... Makes you wonder just what happened...

If you pay attention to this spot you'll see drag marks leading all the way back to Gadgetzan. This isn't a case of a traveler not making it, it's a case of dumping a body out in the desert.
