WoW Moviewatch: In for a Penny Prologue
When I first saw Selserene's Warcraftmovies Christmas Spirit Contest entry, I knew that she would be someone to watch in 2008. Her latest video, In for a Penny: Prologue, certainly doesn't prove me wrong. The editing is brilliant, the storyline is engaging, and well, it's just awesome. As always, if you liked the movie, you can download the high quality version.
When a clueless blonde ends up in the wrong part of town, she uncovers a seedy underworld like no other. A seductive belf temptress lures a strapping belf lad to bed, which leads him to discover a body outside. When the police arrive, he is falsely arrested for the crime.
It's a little too convenient if you ask me. Hell hath no fury like a belf woman scorned. I guess we'll have to wait for the movie to come out this Spring!

The opening sequence was a bit horrid, though the actual content was well done. Film noir is always a great style to watch.

I found this very boring, and as well as it was put together. I really didn't find it artisticly attractive at all. But amybe some others did. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 becuase of the effort the person had to go through to do this. Other than that it's prolly be a 2. There are MUCH better storylines and machinimas out there. All in all was sort of a waste of my time.

Nice piece of machinima. I give 8/10, I only don't give 9/10 (the politicaly correct answer ^^) because that police headchief had a wierd outfit... and some minor artistic flaws (but they are so small that they don't really bother).

As much effort that i can see has gone into this machinima, i found it very very boring to watch. The story line just wasnt there for me....i can barely tell what i was watching half the time. Ill give it a 3, cause 5 is average or atleast watchable, but i just found it too boring to watch, seemed a waste of time.

Wow the cranky comments! I'm going to agree with the 14 pages of comments at warcraftmovies, this was brilliant and completely different from other machinima I've seen.

I found it very well done. It is an obscure genre though, so its natural many people would not like it.
Can't wait for the next part of it!

I totally loved it
the song is well choose, the editing is great, the whole execution is top notch.
I saw hard work here in a nice little package.
